Chemicals and Traps

Kill the eggs
But to be really successful in fighting mosquitoes one has to kill the eggs. Most mosquito species lay eggs in the water. They prefer stagnant water so try to get rid of any receptacle that contains stagnant water or cover them to prevent mosquitoes laying eggs in them.
